Customizable Itinerary

Day 1 : Hanoi - Ba Be Lake

7:30 – 8:00AM Pick up at your hotel in Old Quarter in our comfortable van. Transfer you to Lang Son in the direction of the Chinese border about 3 hours before stopping at Chi Lang Pass. This is a historical point of Vietnam where our ancestors got many victories against Chinese invasions.

You will have time to walk and explore Quy Mon Quan gate with the meaning “The gate of Monsters”.
We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Dong Dang and Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe next.
Dinner will be at a local homestay by a local Nung family and overnight there

Day 2: Ba Be National - Bao Lac - Meo Vac

After having breakfast, we will visit Trung Khanh located right on the border with China. In Trung Khanh you will have chance to meet the local Nung people.

Ban Gioc waterfall spans over 300 m between the border of Vietnam and China. You will have time to contemplate the breath-taking landscape here and take some photographs.

The next location is Nguom Ngao cave. Then, you will return to Cao Bang town to visit Ba Be lake, where
you will stay overnight and have diner in a homestay of a local Tay family.

Day 3: Meo Vac - Dong Van - Yen Minh - Quan Ba

Breakfast at homestay and then we will have a day on boat to explore this magnificent lake.

On boat you can enjoy and relax by watching the landscape here or go for a swim in the cool water of Ba Be lake. The views consist of stunning karst formation and the diverse flora and fauna on the both side.

The boat will go along Nang river and explore the caves of Puong Grotto where live thousands bat colony.
Comeback homestay and get back to Hanoi. The bus will stop while travelling at a tea plantation nestled among the hills.

Amazing trip out of Hanoi which takes 2hr and gives your breathtaking views from mua cave. Challenging 500 steps... Soaking wet but worth it! After 2 more caves with explanation of its history from Chris (our guide) who was always with us to make sure we don't do something stupid :)))) Small group of 10 ensures we don't feel too crowded. A good advise.... Don't be lazy and skip the cycling tour.... Its amazing! And easy for everyone.
